Accenture recently announced that it is acquiring Fairway Technologies, a provider of engineering services that will further power the Accenture Product and Platform Engineering Services practice. This acquisition will also help Accenture manage clients and innovate software-based platforms. The terms of the deal were undisclosed.
By adding Fairway Technologies into the Accenture Product and Platform Engineering Services practice, the organizations will be able to maximize platform value by scaling and enhancing digital platforms that introduce new business models and revenue streams. Fairway Technologies has more than 80 skilled professionals on its staff and has offices in San Diego and Irvine, California as well as Austin, Texas.

Accenture’s Product and Platform Engineering Services practice includes more than 8,000 professionals who help clients pivot to the digital platform economy ranging from defining a platform strategy to designing, implementing, and supporting a platform and developer ecosystem.
