Cognizant recently announced it entered an agreement to buy Indianapolis-based Lev — which is a privately-held and digital marketing consultancy. This acquisition will further expand Cognizant’s Salesforce practice. And it is expected to close in the first quarter of 2020, subject to satisfaction of certain closing conditions. The financial terms of the deal were undisclosed.
What does Lev do? Lev works with businesses to simplify and modernize their marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to provide data-driven insight and personalization across the customer journey and drive additional revenue.
Lev is a Salesforce Platinum Partner that specializes in custom cloud solutions that equip marketers in using automation, personal preferences, and data to forge stronger customer connections through personalized experiences. And Lev provides strategic consulting, architecture design, technical optimization and application integration services.
The company’s clients include major brands in healthcare, life sciences, entertainment, technology, utilities, financial services, and education, among other industries.
Originally, the company was founded in 2006 as Levementum. And now the company has approximately 200 employees.
