Herzig Engineering announced that it has acquired Canada Training Group, a provider of electrical safety training, electrical maintenance training, Arc Flash Studies, and Infrared Electrical Inspections.
Herzig Engineering is a provider of electrical safety and reliability services backed by Copley Equity Partners. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1980, Canada Training Group has built a strong reputation serving industrial and commercial customers across Canada through electrical safety training and technical services. The company will continue operating under its established brand as Canada Training Group – A Herzig Company.
The acquisition strengthens Herzig Engineering’s ability to support customers across North America, especially organizations with operations in both the United States and Canada. By adding Canada Training Group’s established Canadian presence, Herzig Engineering is expanding its geographic reach and broadening its ability to deliver consistent electrical safety, reliability, and training services.
Canada Training Group’s services align closely with Herzig Engineering’s focus on helping industrial and commercial organizations improve safety, reduce downtime, and maximize asset performance through consulting, engineering services, training, and field support.
The combined organization is expected to benefit from Canada Training Group’s technical expertise and customer relationships, along with Herzig Engineering’s growing sales force and broader platform. The acquisition also gives customers access to a more comprehensive electrical safety and reliability services provider serving both U.S. and Canadian markets.
