Inszone Insurance Services announced that it has acquired BenefitRiver, an employee benefits agency based in Bozeman, Montana, and Golden, Colorado.
The acquisition expands Inszone’s presence in Montana and Colorado while adding specialized employee benefits expertise to the company’s national platform.
BenefitRiver was founded in 2008 by Craig Gilbert and has spent the past 18 years providing employee benefits solutions to clients. As Gilbert prepared to transition out of the industry, he sought a partner that could provide a long-term home for BenefitRiver’s clients.
As part of the acquisition, key BenefitRiver team member Jen Bernier has joined Inszone to support continuity and maintain the level of service clients have received from the agency.
BenefitRiver’s clients will continue receiving personalized service while gaining access to Inszone’s national carrier network and back-office support. Inszone said the acquisition complements its broader national growth strategy.
