McKim & Creed announced that it has acquired Davis Martin Powell. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Davis Martin Powell is a 46-person engineering and surveying firm with offices in High Point and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The acquisition strengthens McKim & Creed’s presence in North Carolina’s Triad region.

It also expands the service offerings and resources available to Davis Martin Powell’s longstanding clients. Founded in 1965, Davis Martin Powell has built a reputation as an engineering and surveying firm serving clients across North Carolina.

The company has focused on civil engineering and geomatic solutions while maintaining client relationships across the region. Davis Martin Powell’s team will join McKim & Creed’s more than 1,100 employee-owners.

The acquisition further strengthens McKim & Creed’s presence across the Mid-Atlantic. It also enhances the company’s capabilities in engineering, surveying, and related professional services.

McKim & Creed said the transaction reflects its continued strategic growth across the Southeast and its commitment to investing in talented teams and strong client partnerships.

McKim & Creed is an employee-owned engineering, planning, and geospatial services firm.

The company operates offices across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Virginia, Delaware, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

McKim & Creed specializes in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, civil, instrumentation, water, and wastewater engineering.

The company also provides industrial design-build services, airborne and mobile lidar and scanning, unmanned aerial systems, subsurface utility engineering, and hydrographic and conventional surveying services.
