Premarket announced that it has acquired Maklare AI, a New York-based artificial intelligence company focused on structuring demand-side data in residential real estate.
Premarket is an agent-only platform that centralizes private real estate listings across brokerages into a single searchable network. The company said the acquisition will help it build what it describes as residential real estate’s first demand intelligence platform.
As part of the transaction, Maklare AI co-founder and CEO Oliver Wenner will join Premarket as chief operating officer. Wenner brings AI capabilities that are expected to accelerate Premarket’s intelligence roadmap.
The acquisition comes as residential real estate listing data continues to fragment. As brokerages and portals move inventory out of shared listing layers and into siloed networks, agents, buyers, and sellers face a growing information gap.
Premarket was built to address that issue by creating a shared operating layer for private inventory and buyer demand. The platform gives agents a more complete view of market activity before listings become public.
The company said the demand side of residential real estate has remained largely opaque. While available properties are generally tracked and marketed, buyer demand has often depended on anecdotal agent intelligence and historical transaction data.
Maklare AI was founded to address that issue by developing AI infrastructure that structures previously siloed and unstructured demand data. Its technology extracts actionable signals from buyer behavior, preferences, and intent.
By bringing Maklare AI’s capabilities into Premarket, the company plans to combine structured demand intelligence with its active private listing network. Premarket said the combined platform will use live, structured data from both supply and demand across the private market.
Premarket currently has $4 billion in active New York City private inventory and thousands of active buyers on its platform. The company is live in New York City and expanding to additional markets.
Integration of Maklare AI’s capabilities is already underway across Premarket’s agent subscriber base. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
