Quorum Software announced that it has acquired Streamba, an AI-native supply chain platform built for the energy industry.
The acquisition expands Quorum’s position as an AI platform for the energy value chain by adding Streamba’s logistics, supply chain, and operational execution capabilities to Quorum’s existing energy software platform.
Streamba’s Visibility, Orchestration and Response platform adds an operational intelligence layer designed to unify data, workflows, and cross-functional teams across energy supply chains. The platform helps operators surface critical issues, respond to disruptions, and progressively shift coordination from manual processes toward agentic workflows.
Quorum said the acquisition helps connect planning, field execution, and back-office operations in a single AI-powered system. The company’s broader software platform spans areas such as planning, production operations, measurement, accounting, hydrocarbon management, SCADA, and logistics.
Streamba will be combined with Quorum’s DaWinci platform to create a unified logistics experience across planning and execution for both personnel and cargo. By bringing DaWinci’s logistics planning and execution capabilities together with Streamba’s operational intelligence, Quorum aims to deliver a more comprehensive supply chain control tower and orchestration solution.
The combined platform is intended to eliminate silos between planning and execution and between personnel and cargo logistics. Quorum said this will help energy operators optimize supply chains, improve visibility, and respond more quickly when operational disruptions occur.
Quorum’s long-term vision is to serve as an operating system for the global energy industry. The company is building a unified platform that connects energy domains through a common data foundation and governed AI layer.
The Streamba acquisition extends Quorum’s reach into real-time logistics and brings AI agents into execution-layer workflows where operational decisions happen quickly and delays can be costly.
Quorum Software serves more than 1,500 customers across the energy value chain in 50 countries. Streamba provides AI-powered logistics, supply chain, and operational execution technology that helps energy companies coordinate operations, respond to disruptions, and improve complex supply chain efficiency.
KEY QUOTES:
“Energy is entering the agentic era, and the companies that will lead it are those whose software doesn’t just report on operations – it runs them. Streamba is not an adjacency play. It is a direct extension of our core thesis: that the energy industry deserves an AI platform that connects every workflow from the reservoir to the back office. With Streamba inside Quorum, our customers gain an end-to-end platform that turns operational complexity into competitive advantage.”
Paul Langenbahn, CEO of Quorum Software
“Our goal is to bring real-time intelligence and agency to energy operations. Together with Streamba, we can accelerate the roadmap from operational execution to autonomous agents – AI that doesn’t just flag a disruption but resolves it, reassigns resources and updates the plan with appropriate human oversight. For our customers, logistics and supply chain operations become self-optimizing systems. That’s a fundamental change in how the energy industry operates.”
Radhika Krishnan, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Quorum Software
“Streamba was built on a simple idea: operators should be able to trust the context behind every decision and prove the outcome afterward. VOR is a governed execution layer, and joining Quorum lets us bring it to more operators worldwide while keeping it complementary to the systems our customers already rely on.”
Steven Calder, CEO of Streamba
