By Amit Chowdhry ● Oct 13, 2023

Robot Morning – a leader in aerospace supply chain software and automation solutions – recently announced that it has acquired Enterprise Solutions Implementation Specialists (ESIS). The terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

Launched in 1992, ESIS provides cloud-based Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and business-to-business (B2B) integration services that enables businesses to streamline their supply chain processes, safely and securely exchange information with partners and achieve operational efficiencies. And its supply chain management system is used by more than 20,000 suppliers across multiple manufacturing industries, including aerospace.

Launched in 2008, Robot Morning’s industrial network, AXON, authenticates, secures, and normalizes the data moving between businesses, ensuring its security and availability at all times, and minimizing interruptions. And by analyzing the data exchanged between customers and multi-tier suppliers across the aerospace supply chain, Robot Morning also provides customers and suppliers with analytics and insights that can help streamline processes and maximize efficiency.

In 2019, Robot Morning had received a minority investment from Belcan LLC, a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, LP and a global supplier of engineering, supply chain, technical recruiting, and IT services.

KEY QUOTES:

“As the aerospace supply chains rebound from the pandemic and continue to accelerate, the ability to efficiently and safely maintain the information flow and digital threads that connect suppliers and their customers is becoming increasingly complex and mission-critical. By joining forces with ESIS, we can increase our scale and help companies improve communication with partners, safely and securely.”

— Emmeram Morning, President & Founder of Robot Morning

“We’re very excited to be joining the Robot Morning team. With the aerospace supply chain growing in complexity, and given the ever-increasing focus on safety and quality in the production of components, there is massive demand for technology that can help speed up manufacturing, while driving cost savings. Bringing our technology and resources together gives ESIS and Robot Morning the scale to serve more customers and a greater capacity to innovate.”

— Derek Baggerly, Chief Executive Officer at ESIS
