Thermogenics announced that it has acquired Prime Boiler Services, a Red Deer-based provider of boiler services across Western Canada.
The acquisition marks Thermogenics’ formal expansion into Western Canada and establishes a service platform across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
Thermogenics is a provider of Boiler Lifecycle Solutions across North America. The company has been building a platform of boiler service companies focused on end-to-end support for industrial, commercial, and institutional customers.
Prime Boiler Services brings more than 35 years of operating experience, five strategic locations, and a large team of safety-focused technicians to the Thermogenics network.
Prime provides 24/7 service, preventative maintenance, equipment solutions, steam and heating rentals, and parts. The acquisition also expands Thermogenics’ technical workforce and specialized engineering capabilities.
The deal brings together two technical teams focused on boiler service, maintenance, equipment engineering, rentals, and mission-critical steam and heating operations.
Thermogenics said the acquisition supports its technician-led growth model by increasing scale, reach, and operational capabilities across Western Canada.
The combination is expected to help Thermogenics leverage shared technical resources, best practices, and operational expertise across a unified North American network.
Prime Boiler Services will continue to operate under its own name as part of the Thermogenics group of companies.
Thermogenics is headquartered in Aurora, Ontario, and operates across North America. Its network includes locations in the U.S. and Canada, including Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Orlando, Sioux City, West Hartford, Greensboro, Apache Junction, Las Vegas, Ottawa, Hamilton, and now Red Deer, with multiple locations across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
