Thrive TRM announced that it has acquired Incentiv, an executive compensation data network built for private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Thrive is a talent relationship management platform that helps firms manage executive search, talent pipelines, and leadership relationships. The acquisition of Incentiv is intended to expand Thrive’s capabilities by adding compensation intelligence to the executive talent workflows its customers already use.
Incentiv was built to address a compensation data gap in private equity. The company collects and standardizes compensation data directly from private equity firms and their portfolio companies, creating a member-contributed network of real-time benchmarks across cash compensation, equity, and incentive structures.
The Incentiv network includes data from more than 500 private equity-backed companies. Its benchmarks are designed to reflect the specific needs of private equity firms, where compensation decisions often involve complex equity structures, retention considerations, and value-creation incentives.
Thrive said the acquisition connects two important parts of executive talent decision-making: identifying the right leader for a role and structuring the right compensation package to attract, motivate, and retain that leader.
For private equity firms and portfolio company leaders, the combined platform is expected to provide compensation intelligence alongside workflows for managing searches, talent pipelines, and leadership relationships.
Incentiv will operate as a standalone subsidiary within Thrive. Thrive said member data will continue to be governed under the same standards that Incentiv members rely on today.
As Incentiv’s membership grows with Thrive’s scale, the companies expect the data powering each benchmark to deepen for all members.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
