Willow — a femtech leader that changed the way women pump with the first quiet all-in-one in-bra wearable breast pump — announced that it raised $55 million in funding led by NEA as well as Meritech Capital Partners, Lightstone Ventures, new investor Perceptive Advisors, and several others.
And to date, Willow has launched 3 generations of its wearable technology. This additional funding will fuel existing product innovation and new product launches for further expansion within the femtech category.
The Willow Wearable Breast Pump does not have long tubes, cords, dangling bottles, and loud sucking sounds so moms can pump wherever their day takes them.
The funding round comes on the heels of Willow recently hiring Laura Chambers as Chief Executive Officer (June of this year). And Willow also reported a 140% increase in revenue growth year-over-year from 2018-2019 supported by a 120% growth in its mom user base year-over year. Willow also continues to show strength in revenue growth this year within the booming femtech space.
