Windrose Consulting Group said it has acquired Zenith Access Network, adding a specialist market access consultancy focused on Greater China and emerging Asia-Pacific markets as the firm expands its regional footprint and client support in pricing, reimbursement, and access strategy.
Founded in 2016, Zenith Access Network has completed more than 180 engagements with life science companies, according to the announcement. The firm advises on market and stakeholder landscaping, pricing research and strategy, access and reimbursement assessments, patient access scheme design, payer engagement, and advisory board facilitation across markets including Greater China, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore.
As part of the transaction, Zenith’s founding director, Shuang Wen, will join Windrose as Head of APAC. Windrose said Wen brings market access experience and relationships spanning public and private payers, health technology assessment reviewers, clinical key opinion leaders, hospital administrators, procurement leaders, regulators, and patient advocacy organizations.
Windrose Managing Partner Matthew Storer said the acquisition is intended to strengthen the firm’s ability to support clients navigating complex access environments across the region, citing a multi-year collaboration between the two organizations prior to the deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Windrose, founded in 2015, describes itself as a privately held global strategy consulting firm focused on product and portfolio planning, value, pricing, and market access for life science companies. The firm said it has worked on more than 1,000 products across 70 disease areas in 90 countries, with offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
Zenith’s experience spans multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, cardiovascular disease, neurology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, rare diseases, and ophthalmology, Windrose said.
