Wingman Growth Partners, an investment firm focused exclusively on enterprise software, data, and financial technology businesses, has appointed Cheri Reeve as chief financial officer, tasking her with leading the firm’s finance and reporting functions as it continues to build out its institutional platform.
Reeve brings nearly three decades of experience across investment management and financial operations. Most recently, she spent close to 15 years at Atlas Holdings LLC, a global investment firm with more than $16 billion in assets under management, where she served as principal and chief financial officer and later as a senior advisor. Wingman said Reeve played a central role during a period of significant growth at Atlas, including the launch of multiple funds and the buildout of finance and back-office teams.
Earlier in her career, Reeve served as controller at Commonfund, where she led financial reporting initiatives, and held the role of accounting manager at Care Technologies, Inc. Wingman highlighted her background in designing internal controls and scalable financial systems as a fit for a platform that aims to keep its investment team focused on sourcing and scaling high-potential software businesses.
Reeve will be based in Wingman’s Greenwich, Connecticut office. She holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Fairfield University and a B.Sx. in Business, Marketing & Communications from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside.
