Wint has raised $36 million in Series D funding to expand its AI-powered platform for monitoring water usage, preventing leaks and reducing water-related risks across commercial and industrial buildings.
The round was co-led by LIP Ventures and Inven Capital. Wint plans to use the funding to accelerate product development and expand its market reach as demand grows for enterprise water management and risk-mitigation technology.
Wint’s platform uses AI algorithms to analyze building water data in real time, helping facility and risk-management teams identify where water is being used, wasted or lost before leaks result in significant damage.
The company serves global enterprises, commercial and residential properties, contractors and mission-critical facilities seeking to reduce water waste, prevent damage, lower operating expenses and improve sustainability performance.
Wint said that during 2025 its technology helped customers save 1.15 billion gallons of water, prevented an estimated $100 million of water damage across more than 1,300 incidents, and helped avoid more than 39,000 metric tons of carbon emissions.
The company has also expanded its AI capabilities through Water Insights and AI-driven water-temperature and boiler-health analysis, allowing its platform to identify additional operating patterns and potential issues across building systems.
The Series D follows a strategic investment from property owner and developer Grosvenor announced in December 2025. Grosvenor also committed to expanding Wint’s technology across its global real estate portfolio.
Wint’s customers and users span building owners, insurers, facility managers and construction companies. Its platform is designed to operate across the building lifecycle, providing usage intelligence while proactively identifying leaks and other water-related risks.
The company is also backed by a global insurer warranty and is used by organizations including HP, Suffolk Construction and the Empire State Building.
LIP Ventures manages three funds totaling more than US$220 million in assets under management, while Inven Capital is a €500 million European climate technology fund backed by CEZ Group and the European Investment Bank.
