Wipro Limited announced it has secured one of its largest strategic transformation engagements, signing an eight-year agreement with Olam Group valued at over $1 billion, with a committed spend of $800 million.
As part of the agreement, Wipro will deliver end-to-end transformation services through a consulting-led and AI-powered approach. The company will leverage its Wipro Intelligence platform suite along with partnerships and domain expertise to strengthen Olam Group’s operations across its global farm-to-fork value chain.
The engagement will focus on key areas including farming, forecasting, trading, supply chain operations, and customer engagement, with the goal of improving operational effectiveness, resilience, and long term growth.
In conjunction with the deal, Wipro will acquire Olam Group’s IT and digital services business, Mindsprint, which employs more than 3,200 professionals. Mindsprint will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Wipro, subject to regulatory approvals, with the transaction expected to close by the end of June 2026.
Mindsprint has played a central role in Olam Group’s digital transformation and brings specialized capabilities in supply chain transformation, digital platforms, and proprietary solutions such as Farmsprint, Procuresprint, SprintAP, Salessprint, and Tradesprint.
Wipro said the acquisition will enhance its capabilities in the food and agri business sector and strengthen its ability to deliver industry-specific solutions at scale.
The partnership is also expected to support Olam Group’s broader reorganization strategy aimed at sharpening its focus on core businesses and maximizing shareholder value while advancing sustainability and operational efficiency across its global footprint.
