Wiremind Raises €35 Million To Accelerate International Expansion And AI Development

Wiremind has raised €35 million in its first external funding round, bringing in IronWave, formerly Wendel Growth, Bpifrance through its Large Venture fund, and Seaya Andromeda as new investors.

The Paris-based technology company plans to use the financing to accelerate its international expansion and increase investment in artificial intelligence as it seeks to become a major technology partner for passenger transportation operators and the event and sports ticketing industries.

Wiremind co-founders Colin Girault-Matz, the company’s CEO, and Charles Pierre, its CTO, remain majority shareholders and retain control of the business following the transaction.

The financing represents a significant milestone for Wiremind after 12 years of self-financed growth. Founded in 2014, the company has remained profitable while developing software for revenue management, inventory and distribution across passenger transportation, air cargo, sports and events.

Wiremind reported revenue growth of 67% in 2025 and now works with more than 80 clients. Twenty-three of those customers were added during 2025.

The company plans to deploy the new capital across two primary areas. Internationally, Wiremind intends to continue expanding in South America while strengthening its presence in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Those markets will build on the company’s existing deployments across Europe and North America.

Wiremind will also increase investment in its AI capabilities.

The company has developed and deployed its own machine learning models and optimization algorithms since its early years, using them to help customers manage revenue, capacity, inventory and distribution. The new financing will enable Wiremind to expand those research and development efforts while adding large language models to its technology stack.

Wiremind believes generative AI can complement its existing optimization infrastructure by enhancing pricing recommendations, supporting decision-making and making its software easier for customers to use.

Girault-Matz and Pierre met in 2012 while working in the revenue management department at French railway company SNCF. They founded Wiremind two years later after identifying an opportunity to use machine learning to forecast demand and optimize transportation capacity.

One of Wiremind’s foundational products is CAYZN, a revenue management platform that was adopted by SNCF and has generated average revenue gains of up to 5% to 15%, according to the company.

CAYZN’s annual recurring revenue increased 81% year over year in 2025. The platform is now used by teams at more than 20 transportation operators globally, including SNCF, Trenitalia, Eurostar, Transavia, SJ, VR-Group, National Express, VIA Rail, Nouvelair and Flair Airlines.

Wiremind expanded its product portfolio in 2023 with PAXONE, a next-generation inventory and distribution system built natively around the Open Sales and Distribution Model standard.

In 2025, France’s Directorate General for Infrastructure, Transport and Mobility selected PAXONE to power GITE, the country’s new national ticketing system for state-supported Intercités rail services.

Wiremind has also expanded beyond passenger transportation.

The company launched EVENTORI in 2022 as an AI-powered platform that combines ticketing, revenue management, analytics and operational tools for sports clubs and event organizers.

EVENTORI grew 140% in 2025, with more than 2 million tickets analyzed through the platform. It currently serves more than 40 clients, the majority of which are sports clubs.

Wiremind is now adding generative AI functionality directly to CAYZN and PAXONE. Planned and developing capabilities include pricing recommendations with structured and explainable reasoning, natural-language automation of business rules and automatically generated performance reports.

The company said the enhancements bring mathematical optimization, machine learning and generative AI together within a single system intended to give transportation operators greater visibility into the reasoning behind recommendations.

Wiremind’s new investors see its combination of profitable growth, proprietary technology and established customer relationships as a foundation for further international expansion.

Seaya Andromeda also highlighted the potential environmental impact of Wiremind’s technology, noting that improving utilization of existing trains and aircraft can enable transportation operators to carry more passengers without adding the emissions associated with additional capacity.

KEY QUOTES:

“Charles and I began our careers more than fifteen years ago in the rail and aviation industries, so we have a unique understanding of the challenges our clients face. It is this first-hand knowledge that we leveraged to grow Wiremind over the years, while staying completely self-financed and investing in our own R&D. Today, we’re accelerating our efforts given the speed at which the market is adopting artificial intelligence tools. This financing round will allow us to reach rapidly growing geographic markets where decisions on technology investments are being made right now”,

Colin Girault-Matz, CEO and Co-Founder of Wiremind

“We don’t just add an AI layer to an existing product. Our systems have been built on our own forecasting and optimization models since day one, and they run every day at the heart of our clients’ revenue management operations. Generative models now complement that foundation, giving teams a new way to interact with these engines and act on the decisions they produce. This funding allows us to move faster on both fronts”,

Charles Pierre, CTO and Co-Founder of Wiremind

“In twelve years, and without a single euro of outside capital, Colin, Charles and their teams have built systems that today drive the revenue of the largest rail and air operators. This financing serves two ambitions at once: bringing this technology to the markets that are equipping themselves now, and making the leap into generative AI on the optimization and machine learning foundations laid ten years ago. We are proud to support a team of this caliber.”

Victoire Laurenty, Founder and General Partner at IronWave

“Wiremind brings together all the qualities that Bpifrance Large Venture looks to support: recognized technological excellence, remarkable execution, and the ability to renew its growth engines through innovation. We are delighted to support Colin and Charles in this new phase of development, helping them consolidate their leadership in solutions for passenger transport operators.”

Adrien Neel, Investment Director within Bpifrance’s Large Venture Fund

“Colin and Charles have built a leading technology company in software for the passenger transport and events industries, and they have done it profitably. Their systems fill the trains and planes that are already running, which is the cheapest emissions cut available to any operator, and the reason Wiremind fits Seaya Andromeda’s impact mandate. They are now expanding worldwide, including Iberia and Latin America, where we have spent thirteen years backing founders. We are delighted to support them in their international expansion.”
