Many dentists lack modern tools for managing revenue, despite the growing attention to AI in revenue cycle management (RCM) within the healthcare industry. Wisdom is an AI-powered dental RCM platform designed to address this issue. The company recently raised $21 million in a Series A funding round, led by Permanent Capital Ventures (PCV), with support from Aquiline and existing investor Juxtapose. With this, Wisdom has raised a total of $28 million since its founding in 2023.
Many small dental practices struggle with administrative tasks, resulting in over $20 billion in uncollected revenue. Wisdom has helped clients collect hundreds of millions of dollars and reduce collection costs by up to 50%. By combining AI technology with U.S.-based billing experts, Wisdom improves revenue collection and patient satisfaction, allowing dental staff to focus more on patient care.
Wisdom has grown quickly and has a strong Net Promoter Score of 73. More than 50% of its new clients come from referrals. The company was named a Top Dental Billing Company by Healthcare Business Review and won the 2025 Dental Innovator Award from DentalIQ for its AI-assisted billing service.
Stoyan Kenderov, Wisdom’s CEO, has over 25 years of experience in technology and product development. He was previously COO of Plastiq. Co-founder and Chief Dental Billing Officer Ashley Bond founded Bond Dental Billing.
This new funding will enable Wisdom to enhance its technology platform, expand its market presence, and strengthen its team to support dental offices of all sizes, from small practices to larger groups.
