WisdomTree and Halo Investing announced the launch of the Halo-WisdomTree Structured Income Strategy, a defined outcome separately managed account strategy designed to deliver income, enhance risk-adjusted returns, and provide buffered downside protection for investors.
The strategy combines WisdomTree’s asset allocation expertise and model portfolio framework with Halo’s structured note capabilities. It is calibrated quarterly using WisdomTree Asset Management’s model portfolio alongside Halo’s income-focused structured notes. The resulting portfolio is designed to mirror an institutionally managed ETF-based model portfolio while incorporating yield-enhancement and principal-protection features.
The launch reflects WisdomTree’s broader push to expand beyond its traditional ETF business and grow its solutions platform for financial advisors. The company has been building model portfolios and SMA strategies as part of a multi-year effort to offer differentiated portfolio-construction tools across market cycles.
Defined outcome strategies have become one of the fastest-growing segments in wealth management as advisors increasingly seek ways to balance equity market exposure with clearly defined risk parameters. WisdomTree views the segment as a significant opportunity for product innovation and long-term growth in assets under management as advisors adopt more holistic portfolio construction frameworks.
The Halo-WisdomTree Structured Income Strategy invests across U.S., international, and emerging markets. It is managed by Dennis Monohan, head of investment solutions at Halo, with strategic allocation and model portfolio guidance from Joe Tenaglia, director of model portfolios at WisdomTree. The strategy is available as a separately managed account exclusively through the Halo platform.
The launch also reflects WisdomTree’s ongoing effort to diversify its offerings across ETFs, model portfolios, SMA strategies, private asset exposure, and digital asset products. The company said this continued cadence of product innovation is aimed at deepening advisor engagement, diversifying revenue streams, and driving sustainable growth in assets under management.
Separately, WisdomTree has been expanding its footprint in the SMA market through additional partnerships, including a collaboration with Quorus to provide WisdomTree’s investment strategies in a tax-efficient SMA format.
