Wolf Games: $9 Million Series A Raised And NBCUniversal Partnership

By Amit Chowdhry ● Oct 22, 2025

Wolf Games, a Los Angeles–based generative entertainment startup, announced it has raised $9 million in a Series A funding round led by Main Street Advisors. The round includes participation from Maverick Carter, Tom Werner, and artist Rashid Johnson, as well as returning investors Dick Wolf, Jimmy Iovine, and Paul Wachter. The funding will be used to expand Wolf Games’ proprietary generative AI platform and launch immersive, narrative-driven gaming universes designed to redefine interactive entertainment.

Alongside the funding, Wolf Games revealed a partnership with NBCUniversal to explore creating games based on some of the entertainment giant’s most iconic franchises. The collaboration aims to bring beloved IP to life through Wolf’s AI-powered game engine, which blends cinematic storytelling with dynamic world-building. Unlike traditional AI tools that attempt to automate content creation, Wolf’s system serves as a creative partner that understands story structure, character integrity, and emotional continuity—ensuring that AI enhances rather than replaces human creativity.

The partnership with NBCUniversal highlights Wolf Games’ ethical approach to generative AI and its commitment to preserving storytelling authenticity. The company’s technology allows players to experience worlds built around established universes while maintaining the narrative quality and creative intent of the original material.

Wolf Games’ first title, Public Eye, will enter beta later this year, followed by a wider release. The game immerses players in a cinematic world of modern crime and investigation, tasking them with solving cases and uncovering hidden truths alongside elite law enforcement minds. The gameplay evolves dynamically based on player decisions, offering a personalized and evolving narrative experience.

The company was founded by writer and producer Elliot Wolf, the co-creator of the Prime Video series On Call, alongside technology entrepreneurs Andrew Adashek and Noah Rosenberg. Wolf Games is backed by some of the entertainment industry’s most influential figures, including Dick Wolf, Jimmy Iovine, and Paul Wachter. The studio’s proprietary AI engine is designed to dissolve the boundary between storytelling and gameplay, generating cinematic worlds in real-time that adapt to player engagement and choices.
