World Insurance Associates announced that it acquired the business of Wolpert Insurance Agency of Worcester, Massachusetts, on October 1, 2025. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Wolpert Insurance Agency was established in 1956 and represents the insurance needs of thousands of businesses and families throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The agency is known for its transportation specialty coverage, including trucking and transportation insurance, limousine insurance, and bobtail insurance.
World Insurance Associates is a nationally ranked financial services organization headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey. The company serves clients from more than 250 offices across the U.S. and U.K. Its offerings span commercial and personal insurance and bonds, employee and executive benefits, wealth management and retirement plan services, private client services, and payroll and HR solutions.
The acquisition expands World’s presence in Massachusetts and Rhode Island while adding an agency with decades of experience and a strong customer service focus.
Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla provided legal counsel to World on the transaction. Fletcher Tilton PC provided legal counsel to Wolpert, and BH Burke & Co. advised Wolpert. No other advisors, diligence firms, or legal counsel were disclosed.
