Orlando-based fintech company Worth has raised $30 million in a Series A funding round to accelerate development of its AI-powered platform for onboarding and underwriting small and medium-sized businesses.
The round was led by Fulcrum Equity Partners, with participation from Amex Ventures and TTV Capital.
Founded in 2023, Worth provides financial institutions with a unified infrastructure layer that integrates business identity, risk and financial data into a real-time decisioning engine. Its platform leverages artificial intelligence to automate onboarding, underwriting, Know Your Business, Know Your Customer, fraud detection and credit risk assessment, enabling faster and more accurate decisions.
The company is addressing longstanding inefficiencies in SMB financial services, where onboarding and underwriting processes often take days or weeks due to fragmented data systems. Worth’s technology enables near-instant approvals by consolidating these processes into a single platform.
The new capital will be used to enhance Worth’s technology, introduce Know Your Agent frameworks and expand its Decision Intelligence capabilities. The platform combines verified identity data, network intelligence, risk signals and machine learning models with customizable workflows to deliver real-time, auditable decisions aligned with regulatory requirements.
Worth also highlighted growing adoption among global financial institutions, including payment processors, fintechs and banks, which use its platform to reduce operational inefficiencies, accelerate time-to-revenue and expand access to capital for small businesses.
