Woven Solutions has acquired Cystemic Security, marking the Reston-based mission-software provider’s first transaction since securing a strategic investment from Falfurrias Management Partners in August. The deal strengthens Woven’s position as a rapidly scaling builder of AI-enabled cyber and intelligence tooling for U.S. national security agencies.
Cystemic, long known inside the intelligence community for its managed attribution platforms and specialized cyber operations tooling, brings deep technical experience in cyber forensics, vulnerability analysis, and safe exploitation environments. The acquisition allows Woven to deliver more comprehensive end-to-end support for virtual operations, an increasingly high-priority capability across federal cyber missions.
Woven said the integration will accelerate its “Threads” delivery model—a framework that blends engineering expertise, domain knowledge, and mission context into focused solution areas. Cystemic’s technology and operational know-how will anchor new Threads centered on cyber forensics and attribution-controlled environments.
The deal underscores Woven’s strategy of scaling quickly through targeted acquisitions while preserving its culture of high-performance engineering teams and mission-driven innovation.
