Woven Solutions, a provider of AI-enabled mission software for national security customers, has acquired Apira Technologies, a developer of software tools used in sensitive cyber and information operations. Woven said Apira’s patent-pending commercial technology strengthens its ability to support a broader range of virtual and cyber operations tied to high-priority missions.
Apira is focused on computer vision, machine learning, and AI systems, and operates across AI-enabled content creation, synthetic media detection, and secure digital engagement. The company supports national security and law enforcement users through SaaS products and specialized technical services.
Woven said the deal expands its product suite, adds engineering and R&D talent, and increases access to end customers and prime contracts. The companies already work with many of the same customers, and Woven expects the combination to improve its ability to deliver integrated commercial technology solutions to cyber operators across the national security community.
The acquisition is Woven’s second since receiving a strategic investment from Falfurrias Management Partners in August 2025. Woven is based in Reston, Virginia, and provides cloud native software development, DevOps, cybersecurity, and data solutions for national security clients.

Falfurrias Management Partners, which manages Falfurrias Capital Partners, is a Charlotte-based private equity firm founded in 2006 and has raised $3.6 billion across seven funds, investing in middle-market businesses across government and business services, food manufacturing, and industrial technology.
