Wyyerd Fiber has launched its fiber-optic internet network in Sahuarita, Arizona, expanding the company’s presence across Southern Arizona.
The network is now available to the first group of connected homes, with construction expected to continue in phases as Wyyerd expands service into additional Sahuarita neighborhoods.
Residential customers can access internet speeds of up to 8 GIG with symmetrical service, meaning upload and download speeds are equal. Wyyerd is also offering customized fiber connectivity options for businesses in the community.
The Sahuarita launch follows Wyyerd Fiber’s previous expansion into Marana, Pima County and Oro Valley.
Wyyerd builds, owns and operates its fiber-optic infrastructure. The company said this approach gives it greater control over network reliability, service quality and future capacity.
The provider does not impose data caps and emphasizes transparent billing without hidden fees. Its customer service and technical support teams are also based locally in Southern Arizona.
Wyyerd said its fiber infrastructure is designed to support remote work, video streaming, gaming, cloud applications and other bandwidth-intensive activities.
For local businesses, the network can support cloud-based operations, video conferencing, large file transfers, cybersecurity systems and other applications requiring high-speed, low-latency connectivity.
The company was recognized by Ookla for delivering Arizona’s fastest and most reliable internet speeds based on Speedtest Intelligence data from the first half of 2026.
The Sahuarita deployment represents another step in Wyyerd Fiber’s strategy of building locally operated fiber networks in communities across Arizona.
