Xactly Appoints Adriana Carpenter As Chief Financial Officer

By Amit Chowdhry ● Jul 20, 2026

Xactly has appointed Adriana Carpenter as chief financial officer. She brings more than 20 years of experience leading finance organizations at software and technology companies.

Carpenter will oversee Xactly’s global finance organization and support the company’s growth strategy, operational execution and investments in AI-powered revenue products. She will also work across Xactly’s go-to-market, product and technology functions as the company expands its platform.

Her appointment follows several additions to Xactly’s executive leadership team across marketing, people, product and technology. The company is strengthening its management organization as it pursues long-term growth and product innovation.

Carpenter most recently served as chief financial officer of Emburse, a provider of travel and expense management software. She managed the company’s global finance operations while supporting its enterprise go-to-market expansion.

Her responsibilities at Emburse included multinational enterprise sales planning and treasury optimization. Carpenter also worked with the product and technology organization to prioritize AI investments and bring new capabilities to market.

Before joining Emburse, Carpenter served as senior vice president of finance and chief accounting officer at Ping Identity. During her tenure, she helped lead the identity security company through a business model transformation, private equity buyout and initial public offering.

That background gives Carpenter experience managing finance functions during periods of significant organizational and ownership change. It also includes supporting companies as they shift business models, expand enterprise sales and increase investments in technology.

At Xactly, Carpenter will help guide financial planning and resource allocation as the company develops its Intelligent Revenue Platform. The platform is designed to help enterprises manage sales planning, compensation, performance and forecasting through a connected AI-driven system.

Xactly describes its approach as sales performance orchestration, which brings multiple revenue management processes together rather than handling them through separate tools. The company aims to help sales organizations improve visibility, accountability and decision-making throughout the revenue lifecycle.

The platform uses a unified data model, intelligence capabilities and a collection of AI agents. These systems are intended to coordinate activities ranging from territory and incentive design to sales compensation administration and revenue forecasting.

Xactly is seeking to move customers beyond manual revenue management processes and fragmented legacy applications. Its technology is designed to help companies motivate sales teams, improve performance and produce more predictable growth.

Carpenter’s appointment is expected to support that strategy by connecting financial discipline with Xactly’s product and commercial priorities. She will also help evaluate investments as the company continues expanding its AI capabilities.

Xactly has spent more than two decades developing sales performance and compensation technology. The company is now applying AI to automate additional parts of the revenue management process and support more coordinated enterprise decision-making.
