anykey, an IT system company founded in 1999 and based in Troisdorf, has joined the Xantaro Group. The integration brings together the strengths of both organizations, aiming to deliver comprehensive IT infrastructure, security, and data center solutions to customers across Germany and Europe.
With the acquisition, anykey gains access to expanded technical expertise in networking and Security Operations Centre services, along with an extended portfolio of products and services. The company will continue operating under its existing name, now supplemented by the descriptor “Xantaro Group.” Stephan Wirtz will remain Managing Director of anykey GmbH.
The integration strategically broadens anykey’s service capabilities, enabling customers to source wider IT infrastructure and managed service solutions from a single provider. The combined offering is designed to support organizations operating their own data centers, as well as manufacturing companies and partners, with expertise spanning information security, server and storage systems, databases, high availability requirements, risk management, consulting, planning, procurement, implementation and ongoing operations.
The move also represents a significant expansion of the Xantaro Group’s security services portfolio. The Group, which includes Xantaro GmbH, Xantaro UK Ltd, NetDescribe GmbH, and the nicos companies, provides solutions for complex IT environments throughout Europe, with offerings that include high-performance network architecture and 24/7 managed services for SOC, NOC, SASE, and maintenance. Integrating AnyKey strengthens this security portfolio, particularly for enterprise, carrier, ISP, and data center operator customers in Germany and the UK.

Since 2024, the company has offered a proprietary Managed SIEM Appliance that standardizes security monitoring and automates response processes. Joining the Xantaro Group enables close linkage between security solutions, data center infrastructure, and network operations, creating integrated service architectures.
The combined structure offers customers holistic and scalable systems, efficiency through standardized processes, an expanded security framework covering SOC, NOC, and OT environments, and a broader European market reach.
