XBOW: $35 Million Added To Series C To Expand Autonomous Offensive Security Platform

XBOW announced an additional $35 million in Series C financing from strategic investors, including Accenture Ventures, DNX Ventures, Liberty Global Tech Ventures, NVentures, Samsung Ventures, and SentinelOne S Ventures. The funding extends the company’s previously announced $120 million Series C round.

The company said the investment reflects increasing enterprise demand for continuous offensive security platforms designed to defend against AI-driven cyberattacks. XBOW noted that several participants in the financing round are also customers and ecosystem partners using the company’s technology.

XBOW develops autonomous offensive security software that uses AI to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in applications continuously, rather than relying on periodic human-led penetration testing. The platform is designed to validate exploitable vulnerabilities with low false-positive rates and help security teams prioritize actionable risks.

According to the company, the growth of AI-driven attacks is increasing pressure on organizations to adopt continuous security testing capabilities capable of operating at machine speed across software releases, environments, and exposed systems.

XBOW said the platform enables organizations to test systems more frequently, reduce validation backlogs, and proactively identify vulnerabilities before attackers exploit them. The company currently serves more than 100 customers globally, including Moderna, Seznam, and several strategic investors involved in the financing round.

The new funding will support go-to-market expansion and international growth efforts. XBOW said DNX Ventures will help expand the company’s Asia Pacific network, while Samsung will act as a preferred reseller in South Korea to accelerate adoption in the region.

XBOW recently surpassed 250 employees and said it plans continued expansion across engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams as enterprise demand increases.

KEY QUOTES:

“We’re learning in real time from teams operating at massive scale, and using that insight to build faster for defenders on the front lines. The strongest alignment is when your customers are also in the trenches with you as investors and partners.”

Oege de Moor, Founder And CEO, XBOW

“The attacker’s point of view is foundational to defense, but difficult to operationalize. XBOW changes this by surfacing exploitable and novel findings at machine speed. Each XBOW agent operates like an extension of our in-house red team, allowing us to scale offensive testing with speed and depth that was previously out of reach.”

Alex Krongold, Director, Corporate Development & Ventures, SentinelOne

“We’re seeing accelerating demand for XBOW as organizations look for continuous, intelligent security testing. As a customer, we’ve experienced the platform’s ability to surface real-world risks with speed and precision. XBOW stands out in a crowded market, and we’re excited to now back this talented team as both a partner and investor.”
