Xplor Technologies, a provider of software, payments, and intelligent capabilities for everyday life businesses, announced the acquisition of Bitlancer, a technology company specializing in payroll automation and AI-powered tools for fitness operators. The deal expands Xplor’s ability to deliver embedded payroll processing and business automation capabilities across its vertical software platforms.
Bitlancer has developed payroll and operational tools used throughout the fitness industry. Its technology leverages AI to help businesses manage compensation, monitor performance, and improve decision-making through automation and predictive insights.
By integrating Bitlancer’s capabilities, Xplor plans to provide customers across its fitness and leisure, golf and club, recreation, field services, and education segments with embedded payroll processing, performance-based compensation management, and AI-driven operational intelligence. The combined teams will develop AI-native tools featuring natural language reporting, automated payroll workflows, workforce optimization, benchmarking, and proactive insights aimed at reducing manual tasks and improving efficiency.
Following the transaction, Bitlancer’s team will remain with Xplor and continue leading the development of embedded payroll and AI capabilities across the company’s platform ecosystem. The acquisition supports Xplor’s strategy of expanding beyond traditional business management software to provide integrated financial services, operational automation, marketing solutions, and AI-powered insights through a unified platform.
More than 130,000 businesses across 72 countries use Xplor’s software and payments ecosystem, which processes over $47 billion in annual payment volume. The company is backed by Advent International, Battery Ventures, Osprey Investors, and Silver Lake.
