Yahoo! has announced that it has acquired advertising service Luminate. Luminate is known for developing technology that places ads within images.
Luminate shut down its service on Wednesday September 3rd. And its publishers will receive a final payment by the end of the month. Advertisers will have their account balances paid out to them as well.
