Yazen secured new funding led by European growth investor Verdane, with participation from previous lead investor Evli Growth Partners.
Yazen is a digital healthcare provider specializing in obesity treatment as a chronic disease.
Headquartered in Sweden, the company currently operates across eight European countries and combines weight-loss medication with continuous digital care delivered by a multidisciplinary clinical team.
More than 50,000 patients are actively receiving treatment through Yazen, and the company has helped more than 70,000 patients in total.
Yazen said patients using its platform have collectively lost more than 880 metric tons.
The company employs approximately 290 people, including 210 clinical staff and 115 licensed physicians.
Yazen’s care model combines physicians, dietitians, psychologists, physiotherapists, health coaches, and digital support.
The company cited a 2025 study showing approximately 70% of Yazen patients remained in treatment after 12 months, compared with broader treatment discontinuation rates of 20% to 50% during the first year.
The new financing will support Yazen’s expansion across Europe and the scaling of its evidence-based obesity care model.
Verdane has previous healthcare investments including Medadom, Evondos, Smartbox, and Eterno.
Yazen currently operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, the U.K., Germany, Switzerland, and Spain.
