Yext announced that it has appointed Cynthia Paul as an independent member of its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Paul is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Lynrock Lake LP, bringing decades of investment and board leadership experience to the enterprise agentic marketing platform.
According to Yext CEO and Board Chair Michael Walrath, Paul’s expertise in enterprise software investing and corporate governance will help support the company’s efforts to create long-term value for shareholders and customers.
Paul has more than 24 years of experience managing investments in publicly traded enterprise software companies. After founding Lynrock Lake LP in 2018, she has invested across the capital structures of both public and private companies, primarily within the technology sector. Before launching Lynrock Lake, she spent nearly two decades at Soros Fund Management, where she managed portfolios spanning corporate credit, convertible securities, and equities from 2002 through 2017.
In addition to her investment background, Paul has served on the boards of numerous public and private companies since 2013, including participation on multiple public company board committees.
Paul said she believes Yext is well positioned to benefit from the rapidly changing AI-powered search landscape and plans to help the company build on its momentum while executing its strategy for profitable growth.
