Zaria Raises $5.2 Million Seed Led By Lightspeed Venture Partners To Scale Structured Finance Infrastructure

Zaria Systems has raised $5.2 million in seed funding to expand its real-time infrastructure for structured finance and digital asset-backed lending. The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. Zaria plans to use the capital to grow its team, expand its technology platform, and support its pending application with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to charter Zaria National Trust Bank.

Zaria develops infrastructure for mark-to-market credit and structured finance, with services spanning loan servicing, backup servicing, collateral management, and agency functions. The company is targeting markets where traditional batch-based monitoring is becoming less suitable as securities-backed, tokenized, and digital asset-backed lending increasingly requires real-time collateral monitoring and automated margin processes.

If approved, Zaria National Trust Bank would operate as a special-purpose national bank focused on trust company and related activities. The proposed structure is intended to consolidate multiple transaction functions under a single federally regulated trustee rather than requiring market participants to coordinate across several service providers.

Zaria’s platform is already being used by partners including Ledn, Maple, Galaxy, Kraken, and Figure. The company provides infrastructure supporting warehouse facilities, forward-flow loan sale programs, securitizations, backup servicing, collateral management, agency services, and node operations.

The company’s organizers and management team bring experience from BNY Mellon, Barclays, Morgan Stanley, Moody’s, SoFi, Affirm, NYDIG, Block, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

Zaria sees an opportunity to modernize fiduciary and servicing infrastructure for structured finance as more lending products move toward real-time data, automated risk controls, and digital asset collateral.

Lightspeed Venture Partners manages more than $65 billion in assets and has backed companies including Anthropic, Databricks, Rubrik, Snap, and Wiz.
