By Amit Chowdhry • Yesterday at 8:00 AM

Zealous System is an award-winning software development and IT consulting company that designs and builds custom web, mobile, and enterprise solutions using emerging technologies like AI, IoT, and blockchain for businesses of all sizes. Pulse 2.0 interviewed Zealous System Managing Director Pranjal Mehta to gain a deeper understanding of the company.

Pranjal Mehta’s Background

Could you tell me more about your background? Mehta said:

“I’m Pranjal Mehta, Managing Director at Zealous System and COO at Metic Minds. Across both companies, the mission is simple: solve problems that matter, with people who care. Zealous was built on the belief that technology should serve intention, not the other way around. Every line of code should move a business closer to its purpose, not just deliver features, but enable progress.”

“At Metic Minds, the same principle applies: clarity over chaos. Finance isn’t just about numbers; it’s about building a story that leadership can trust. It’s about designing systems that give companies the confidence to grow responsibly.”

“I began as a developer and grew into leadership through hands-on experience. Today, I focus on building teams, products, and partnerships that last.”

“That’s me, in short, still learning, still building.”

Formation Of The Company

Zealous System team

How did the idea for the company come together? Mehta shared:

“The idea behind Zealous System wasn’t about launching another tech company; it was about solving a recurring business problem I saw across industries: a lack of alignment between digital execution and business intent. Too often, I noticed that companies were investing in technology without clarity, velocity, or long-term scalability. That inefficiency was costing time, momentum, and growth.”

“Zealous was built to change that. I wanted to create a company where technology isn’t an afterthought, but a strategic enabler. Where developers think in outcomes, not just outputs. Our focus from day one has been to combine product thinking, engineering depth, and domain expertise so we can help businesses not just build software, but build smarter, faster, and with purpose.”

“As a founder, my role is to ensure we never lose sight of that intent. I stay involved in strategic decisions, from market expansion and team building to the kind of problems we choose to solve. Because for me, it’s not just about growing a company, it’s about building one that makes growth inevitable for our clients.”

Favorite Memory

What has been your favorite memory working for the company so far? Mehta reflected:

“There’s something powerful about watching an idea turn into real impact. One moment that stands out was when we deployed a custom logistics automation platform for a global supply chain client operating across the U.S., Germany, and the UAE. The platform streamlined fleet routing, real-time tracking, and warehouse coordination.”

“Seeing it go live, across time zones, teams, and tech ecosystems, was a moment of quiet pride. It wasn’t just a technical rollout; it was operational transformation. That project reminded me why we started: to build solutions that don’t just look good in demos, but work in the real world and move businesses forward.”

Core Products

What are the company’s core products and features? Mehta explained:

“We don’t sell off-the-shelf products. What we deliver are tailored digital solutions built around the real challenges our clients face, whether that’s through web platforms, mobile apps, or enterprise systems. Our work ranges from end-to-end software development to enterprise implementations on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.”

“Over the past few years, we’ve also made strategic investments in AI-driven solutions. These include platforms that automate routine processes, deliver smarter customer experiences, and provide actionable insights for better decision-making. From AI recommendation engines in retail to document automation in healthcare, we’re seeing AI deliver real business value when implemented with purpose.”

“Ultimately, our focus is not on features, it’s on outcomes. We align technology to the client’s business goals, ensuring that what we build makes a measurable difference.”

Challenges Faced

Have you faced any challenges in your sector of work recently? Mehta acknowledged:

“Absolutely. The tech space is evolving fast, with AI, low-code tools, and rising customer expectations. The challenge is staying ahead without chasing every trend. We handled this by building a strong R&D culture internally, upskilling our teams, and aligning closely with client priorities. We made conscious decisions to adopt what adds value, and let go of what doesn’t.”

Evolution Of The Company’s Technology

How has the company’s technology evolved since launch? Mehta noted:

“When we started, we focused on building mobile and web apps that worked well and met our clients’ immediate needs. As our clients grew, their needs became more complex, and that pushed us to grow too.

Now, we build complete digital systems that can scale as a business grows. We work on large platforms, enterprise software, and AI tools that help clients work faster and make better decisions. Our way of building software has also improved; we use cloud-based systems, break projects into smaller, manageable parts, and focus on clean, flexible code that’s easy to maintain.”

“AI has become a big part of what we do, whether it’s helping clients get better insights from their data or automating routine tasks. Our technology has grown with the businesses we support. We’ve moved from simply building apps to building systems that create real business impact.”

Significant Milestones

What have been some of the company’s most significant milestones? Mehta cited:

Expanding to serve clients in over 15 countries

Building long-term partnerships with Fortune 500 clients

            Becoming a Microsoft-certified partner

Launching AI and automation initiatives across multiple industries –    Growing from 10 to 100+ team members across departments.

But to me, the real milestone is trust. When clients return with their next challenge, that’s when you know you’re building something meaningful.

Total Addressable Market

What TAM (total addressable market) is the company pursuing? Mehta assessed:

“We operate in the custom software development and enterprise digital transformation space, which is a multi-hundred-billion-dollar global market. That’s just the baseline. When you factor in growth in sectors like AI, healthcare IT, and low-code automation, the scope becomes even more compelling. But we stay focused, we look at where we can drive deep value, not just where the volume is.”

Differentiation From The Competition

What differentiates the company from its competition? Mehta affirmed:

“Plenty of firms talk about innovation, but we talk about follow-through. Our edge is in execution. Clients trust us because we deliver what we promise, without overcomplicating it. Clear timelines, transparent communication, and deep accountability are what keep them coming back.”

Future Company Goals

What are some of the company’s future goals? Mehta concluded:

“Our goal is to become an innovation partner, not just a development partner. That means building domain-specific product accelerators, using GenAI to solve complex challenges, and helping businesses move from reactive to predictive operations. We’re also expanding horizontally, offering more in terms of consulting, product strategy, and AI architecture.”

“On the people front, we’re evolving into a talent-first organization. We want to create an environment where engineers think like product owners, and product owners think like futurists. It’s about building with purpose, scaling responsibly, and always staying a step ahead of what the market and our clients will need next.”
