ZenaTech announced it signed a binding agreement to acquire a Brisbane-based Australian land surveying and spatial services company as part of its Drone as a Service expansion strategy.

The acquisition, which remains subject to regulatory approvals, marks ZenaTech’s 22nd Drone as a Service acquisition and its first major expansion into Australia.

The target company is headquartered in Brisbane with additional offices in Gladstone and on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. ZenaTech said the transaction establishes a three-office footprint in Australia and creates a strategic entry point into the broader Asia-Pacific region.

The acquired company has operated for 35 years and provides land surveying, geospatial mapping, LiDAR-based data capture, and spatial services supporting government, infrastructure, public works, construction, and commercial projects.

ZenaTech said the acquisition strengthens its customer relationships across infrastructure, natural resources, energy, mining, and public works sectors while supporting its broader AI-powered drone automation strategy.

The company plans to integrate the acquired business into its Drone as a Service platform, leveraging existing drone-enabled workflows and geospatial operations to expand standardized drone surveying and infrastructure services.

ZenaTech said its Drone as a Service model provides subscription-based drone services for surveying, inspections, maintenance, inventory management, precision agriculture, and infrastructure operations without requiring customers to manage drone ownership or regulatory compliance.

The company currently operates 25 international Drone as a Service locations and continues pursuing an acquisition-led growth strategy focused on digitizing traditional service industries with AI-powered drone technologies.

ZenaTech operates across AI-powered drones, enterprise SaaS software, quantum computing initiatives, and autonomous drone systems through its ZenaDrone subsidiary.
