ZeroDrift Raises $10 Million Seed Round To Build Compliance Infrastructure For AI Communications

ZeroDrift announced that it has raised an oversubscribed $10 million seed round just three months after emerging from stealth. The company is focused on enforcing compliance on AI-generated communications before they are delivered, positioning itself as a compliance layer for organizations deploying AI agents and automated systems.

The funding round was backed by a16z speedrun (Andreessen Horowitz), Reign Ventures, Pitchdrive Ventures, U&I Ventures, Active Capital, Geek Ventures, Converge VC, Atlas Sgr, Founders Future, Commonweal Ventures, Silicon Badia, Multimodal Ventures, Gaingels, and other investors.

According to the company, the investment reflects growing confidence in the future of enterprise AI, where AI agents increasingly act as a communication layer between businesses and customers, employees, investors, and partners. ZeroDrift believes that organizations will need compliance systems capable of reviewing and enforcing policies before AI-generated content is sent or published.

The company argues that traditional compliance systems were designed for human-paced communication, relying on archiving, monitoring, and reviewing communications after they occur. As AI systems gain the ability to generate large volumes of communications across channels such as email, chat, voice, video, support, sales, marketing, investor relations, and internal workflows, ZeroDrift believes a proactive approach is required.

ZeroDrift’s platform sits between enterprise AI systems and external communications channels, enforcing regulatory requirements and company policies on AI-generated messages, voice calls, and videos before they are delivered. The company says compliant communications are transmitted immediately, while non-compliant outputs are flagged, explained, and corrected in real time.

Since launching earlier this year, ZeroDrift says it has gained traction among major banks, asset managers, insurance companies, and other enterprises preparing for a future where AI systems communicate directly with stakeholders.

The company plans to use the funding to accelerate growth and continue building what it describes as compliance infrastructure for the agentic era. ZeroDrift is also actively hiring for applied AI, engineering, and product roles in New York City.

KEY QUOTES:

“ZeroDrift flips the model. We sit inline between an enterprise’s AI systems and the outside world, enforcing regulations and company policies on every AI-generated message, voice call, and video before it is sent. Compliant communications go through instantly. Non-compliant ones are caught, explained, and corrected in real time before delivery.”

“Since launching earlier this year, we’ve seen strong traction with tier-one banks, asset managers, insurance companies, and enterprises preparing for a world where AI systems communicate directly with customers, employees, investors, and partners.”

“We’re building the compliance infrastructure for the agentic era, so regulated enterprises can deploy AI agents safely at scale.”
