Zettabyte: Strategic Investment Raised From Lam Capital

By Amit Chowdhry ● Aug 6, 2025

Zettabyte, a fast-growing innovator in AI data center infrastructure software, has announced a strategic investment led by Lam Capital, the corporate venture arm of Lam Research Corp. The funding round also included participation from Wistron, Foxconn, and Pegatron.

Zettabyte’s proprietary Zware platform is designed to transform AI compute infrastructure. It unifies the entire AI infrastructure software stack, from networking to complete cluster management, and features advanced liquid cooling. This approach creates a sovereign systems architecture focused on cybersecurity, efficiency, and scalability, aiming to address the supply-demand gap for GPU computing in the era of generative AI.

The new funding will be used to support Zettabyte’s global expansion and accelerate the development of its Zsuite software. Zsuite is designed to provide end-to-end optimizations and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), which will help enterprise and public-sector customers significantly reduce their total cost of ownership.

KEY QUOTES:

“Zettabyte operates at the intersection of two megatrends: AI and infrastructure. This investment highlights the importance of supporting the advancement of next-generation AI data center infrastructure solutions to enable the next wave of innovation across the semiconductor ecosystem.”

Kevin Chen, managing director at Lam Capital

“We are honored to welcome Lam Capital as a strategic investor. Their support validates our mission to reimagine AI infrastructure from the ground up—merging performance, efficiency, and sovereignty in a unified platform.”
