Zillow And Realtor.com: Partnership Expands Pre-Market Home Listings Across Both Platforms

Zillow and Realtor.com announced a collaboration to expand access to pre-market residential real estate listings by making Zillow Preview listings available as Realtor.com Preview listings beginning this summer.

The partnership is designed to increase visibility for homes before they officially go live on the market, allowing buyers to view pre-market properties across both platforms regardless of brokerage affiliation or platform preference.

Under the collaboration, preview listings will be accessible without requiring special brokerage relationships or account restrictions. Listings will include enhanced placement in search results and email alerts on both platforms.

Buyers will be able to save preview listings, contact listing agents, pre-book home tours, and prepare financing before homes formally enter the market.

The companies said the initiative is intended to create greater transparency and broader exposure for sellers while improving access to information for buyers during the early marketing phase of residential listings.

According to the announcement, Zillow Preview has already signed more than 60 brokerage and franchisor partners, including Keller Williams, RE/MAX, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, HomeServices of America, United Real Estate, Engel & Völkers, and Side.

The companies also said participating agents may receive benefits including elevated listing visibility, direct buyer connections, and revenue participation opportunities tied to qualified transactions originating through preview listings.

Zillow said Preview is currently available in all U.S. markets except New York City, where StreetEasy is evaluating a separate offering.
