Zone & Co announced it has acquired Sudozi, an AI-powered procurement and vendor management platform, in a move designed to expand its financial operations capabilities upstream into procurement and earlier-stage spending decisions.
The acquisition reflects a broader shift in enterprise finance, where traditional systems have focused on recording transactions after they occur rather than influencing decisions in real time. By integrating Sudozi, Zone aims to bridge the gap between purchase intent and financial execution, enabling finance teams to gain visibility and control earlier in the spending lifecycle.
Sudozi’s platform centralizes purchase requests, vendor onboarding, approvals, and renewals, while using AI to detect duplicate vendors, flag compliance issues, and surface spending insights before invoices are generated. This allows finance teams to proactively manage budgets and risks instead of reacting after transactions are completed.
With the addition of Sudozi, Zone now covers the full procure-to-pay lifecycle, from initial vendor requests through payment and reporting, within a unified ERP-native platform. The combined offering is powered by Zoe, Zone’s agentic orchestration layer, and the Zone Control Center, which provides a real-time interface for monitoring and managing financial workflows.
Sudozi will continue supporting its existing customers while leveraging Zone’s global infrastructure to accelerate product capabilities. The combined platform is positioned to help finance teams move beyond historical recordkeeping toward actively shaping business outcomes.
