ZonPrep Acquires Wizard-Industries And FNSKU Studio As Amazon Inbound Volume Tops 20 Million Units Monthly

ZonPrep has acquired Wizard-Industries and FNSKU Studio, bringing two Amazon-focused inbound logistics software platforms under the same ownership as its rapidly expanding physical fulfillment operation.

ZonPrep had been a customer of both platforms before acquiring them and now owns software that supports the movement of more than 20 million units into Amazon every month through its own operation as well as inventory processed by other sellers, prep centers, and third-party logistics providers.

Wizard-Industries has been developing Amazon inbound software since 2015.

Its capabilities include shipment creation, FNSKU labeling, pack validation, multi-warehouse routing and placement decisions across Amazon’s Fulfillment by Amazon and Amazon Warehousing and Distribution networks.

FNSKU Studio provides a browser-based platform combining Amazon prep workflows, labeling, inventory management, returns processing and warehouse operations.

ZonPrep plans to keep both products operating under their existing names and available to current customers.

The acquisition gives ZonPrep control over both the physical and software layers of the Amazon inbound process.

That strategy follows the company’s expansion into a second McDonough, Georgia warehouse, bringing its total footprint to approximately 600,000 square feet and increasing capacity to more than 1 million units per day.

ZonPrep serves Amazon sellers generating more than $10 million in annual marketplace revenue and currently works with more than 200 brands.

The combined software and fulfillment platform is intended to help customers manage increasingly complicated inbound requirements, including split shipments, mixed SKUs, restricted categories, parallel FBA and AWD workflows, and changing labeling requirements.
