TubeMogul Raises Seed Capital

tube_mogul_logo.pngTubeMogul.com is a Berkeley, Calif. based company that provides a video analytics service.  TubeMogul has technology that can monitor the frequency of videos being watched on the Internet.  This would be a great tool for those who randomly become stars on YouTube like that guy that was crying about Britney Spears and of course, LonelyGirl15 producers.  The company has raised seed capital funding from NetService Ventures Group recently.

Current users of TubeMogul includes indie content producers, media companies, advertising companies, record labels, film studios, etc.  The company was founded in 2006 by a group of Univ. of Calif. Berkeley students.  The founders of TubeMogul are Brett Wilson and John Hughes.  The advisors of the company include David Toth, co-founder of Net Ratings and Brad Ramsey, a VP at Yahoo!  Some of TubeMogul’s partners include TechPresident, AOL Video, Revver, Metacafe, and Salesforce.com.
