Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has acquired SocialDeck. SocialDeck is a mobile game development company that is located in Waterloo, Ontario. SocialDeck’s popular games Shake & Spell, Color Connect, and Pet Hero has been downloaded close to about one million times in 2009.

New Version of Digg Causes User Revolt


Social news aggregation website Digg.com had to go on lock down today. Digg did not allow manual story submissions throughout the day for some reason. Many people are speculating that the lock down is due to what is believed to be a user revolt. The reason why many users are revolting is because they are not satisfied with the new design of the Digg website, also known as “Digg Version 4.”

Bing Launches Mobile App For Verizon Android Phones Marketplace


Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has created a Bing for Mobile Android Application for Verizon customers. The free Bing mobile application can be downloaded from the Verizon Wireless Android Marketplace. The Bing Android application has the Bing image of the day with clickable hotspots. Etsy is an e-commerce service that has grown at a rapid pace. Etsy is especially popular with people who make crafts and sell them online.
