HoneyBook Raises $22 Million In Series B Funding

HoneyBook is a CRM service that empowers top event professionals to connect more with clients and vendors. And HoneyBook’s collaborative platform allows users to tap into the power of their networks to receive new business and work with everyone involved in organizing events. HoneyBook has raised $22 million in Series B funding led by Norwest Venture Partners. Aleph and Hillsven also participated in this round. HoneyBook has raised a total of $32 million in funding thus far.

This funding will enable HoneyBook to scale its collaborative platform. Plus the funding will enable it to be available to more event professionals across every major US city. HoneyBook is able to handle all sorts of functions from booking to collecting payments in a central place. In the past six months, HoneyBook saw ten times growth largely due to satisfied customers bringing in vendor networks for transactions and doing business together through the platform.

“An event professional’s purpose is to create unforgettable moments for their clients. When an event comes together, every element—from the space to the sound to the visuals—works together in harmony to create the perfect experience,” said HoneyBook CEO Oz Alon in a statement.  “Unfortunately, the processes and tools used to plan these events are too often disconnected. At HoneyBook, we believe that this process should be as fluid as the event itself. We’re here to change that by enabling event pros to collaborate effortlessly with their networks, speak the same language with each other, and deliver those ‘wow’ moments from the very first interaction with a client.”

HoneyBook was previously just available by invitation in San Francisco. But the company is planning to launch similar communities in LA and New York soon. And the company will be accelerating its city-by-city rollout in the US over the next year.
