Folders, PDF E-Mail, and Printing Coming To iBooks Soon

There are several new features arriving on the iBooks application for iOS soon. The new features include folders (called “Collections”), the ability to e-mail PDFs, and the printing PDFs using AirPrint. There is no word yet on when these new features will be available as of yet. [9to5Mac]
Apple Launches Universal iOS 4.2 With Free Find My iPhone Tracking

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has launched an update to iOS. iOS 4.2 brings multitasking, AirPlay, and other improvements to the iPad. And newer iOS devices will notice that the Find My iPhone security service is now available for free. This feature used to only be available for $99 through the MobileMe account.

New Apple Patent Reveals Scrollable Menus In iOS and OS X Lion

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has filed a patent in Europe that reveals a potential feature for OS X Lion and iOS. The scrollable menu and toolbar looks like it would fit nicely with touchscreen devices. Commands such as “print” or “save” could be accessed by scrolling rather than clicking on the OS X menu bar. Or these commands may appear in a semi-circle or column, depending on your preference. Net Apps: iOS Is Bigger Than Android and Linux

Net Applications has reported that Apple iOS has become the third most popular platform on the Internet in terms of marketshare. The iOS is about six times larger than Android and is even bigger than Linux according to Net Applications.
