Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) has officially opened its first physical brick-and-mortar retail store. The store – which is called Amazon Style – is based in Glendale, California. The store will utilize machine learning technology for helping customers find clothes and enable recommendations.
Customers who are shopping through the Amazon app will also have the option to test out selections at the physical store. And they will also be notified about fitting room availability.
Visitors of the store will be able to select items and scan a QR code with the Amazon Shopping app for finding the right color and size. Plus the app also lets visitors send items to fitting rooms and checkout counters.
