Billables AI, an AI-based platform for professional service providers that streamlines operations with its flagship AI-powered timekeeping solution, announced it has raised $3.9 million in seed funding led by Wing VC with participation from F7, SignalFire, Darkmode, Alumni Ventures and AI leaders and industry veterans, including angel investors from Google, Stanford, SambaNova and more. This funding round will go toward investing in advanced ML to further personalize time reports and ultimately build additional productivity tools that help all professional service providers.

DataPelago has unveiled a revolutionary Universal Data Processing Engine to accelerate any engine, including open source, on any hardware, using any data type. And the company is launching from stealth with $47 million in funding from Eclipse, Taiwania Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Alter Venture Partners, Nautilus Venture Partners, and Silicon Valley Bank (a division of First Citizens Bank).

Dynasty Financial Partners announced it closed a minority capital raise to fuel its ongoing growth. Several of Dynasty’s long-standing investors and members of its Board of Directors supported the round, as well as three strategic investors, including existing investor The Charles Schwab Corporation and new investors BlackRock and J.P. Morgan Asset Management. All proceeds from the investment round will go directly into Dynasty’s business to enhance its platform which helps its clients build better businesses and take better care of their clients.

Amazon announced it recently acquired certain assets of MX Player, including the MX Player app, a leading free streaming OTT service in India. AI GPU cloud platform company TensorWave announced the closing of a $43 million SAFE funding round. This funding round - which was led by Nexus VP, marks the largest SAFE funding for any Nevada-based startup so far. City Therapeutics announced its launch with a vision to lead the future of RNA interference (RNAi)-based medicine. And City Therapeutics aims to utilize next-generation engineering of small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) – which is the “trigger” molecules that mediate RNAi – to build a robust and sustainable product engine and expand the therapeutic reach of RNAi-based medicines. Headed by executive chair John Maraganore, Ph.D., founding CEO of Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, the company has completed a $135 million Series A financing led by ARCH Venture Partners, with participation from other leading life sciences investors including Fidelity Management & Research Company, Invus, Slate Path Capital, Rock Springs Capital, Regeneron Ventures, AN Ventures and other undisclosed investors.

DC BLOX, a provider of interconnected data centers, announced it raised incremental equity capital from its existing and new investors, led by Post Road Group and Bain Capital Credit. This funding will advance the deployment of $1+ billion of total capital to finance future construction and the development of powered-land banking opportunities, reinforcing DC BLOX’s position as a hyperscale-ready data center platform.

And the new funding round brings Distributional’s total capital raised to $30 million less than one year since its incorporation.
