Direct-mail marketing company PostPilot announced a strategic investment from global growth equity firm Summit Partners, with participation from Klaviyo founders Andrew Bialecki and Ed Hallen.
This funding round will accelerate hiring, expand internationally, and continue developing PostPilot’s proprietary direct mail targeting and execution capabilities.
PostPilot believes that brands must utilize a mix of marketing channels to drive revenue and build strong customer relationships. And by facilitating thoughtful, personalized customer communication, PostPilot helps enable brands to market at scale, unimpeded by ad networks and other intermediaries. Powered by a data-driven direct mail platform, PostPilot campaigns target the full customer funnel, from retention to retargeting to prospecting, offering AI-powered targeting features designed to enhance customer interactions and boost campaign performance.
Top brands like e-commerce leaders Dr. Squatch, Hexclad, and Good American depend on PostPilot to help drive sales, acquire higher lifetime value customers and diversify their marketing.
PostPilot has native integrations with the e-commerce solutions DTC brands use the most. And the company’s frictionless interface lets brands of all sizes leverage their existing customer data across Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive, Recharge and other key platforms.
This funding round ( the company’s first major equity transaction) comes at a time of strong momentum and expansion for PostPilot. And over the last year, the company opened new production facilities in the U.S. and U.K. and has launched several innovative products, including SiteMatch for website retargeting, ShopDrops to support in-store retail sales and lookalike audiences for prospecting.
PostPilot remained profitable even as the company has continued its rapid growth trajectory, generating revenue growth of over 200% in 2023 alone.
