Samsung Galaxy Buds Features: What You Need To Know

By Annie Baker • Feb 21, 2019

Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy Buds cord-free earbuds at the Unpacked 2019 event. The Galaxy Buds are powered by AKG’s sound technology.

One of the best features built into the Galaxy Buds include Enhanced Ambient Sound, which allows you to hear your surroundings clearly while the buds are in your ears while you are listening to your favorite music.

And the premium sound extends to your voice due to the Adaptive Dual Microphone. There is an inner microphone and one outer microphone in each earbud so you can talk in both loud and quiet environments.

The Galaxy Buds support up to six hours of Bluetooth streaming and up to five hours of calls. And the compact case holds a charge for up to seven hours and gives the Galaxy Buds 1.7 hours of use on a 15-minute quick charge. Plus you can use wireless charging and device-to-device power sharing so you can get a quick charging boost using a Galaxy S10.

And the Galaxy Buds integrate with Bixby on the latest Galaxy mobile devices. This allows you to activate your intelligent assistant quickly without ever picking up your phone. And you can use your voice to make calls, send text messages, or check the battery life on your earbuds.

In terms of price, the Galaxy Buds will cost $129.99 on Samsung.com and major retailers and carriers starting March 8, 2019. And for a limited time, consumers who pre-order a Galaxy S10 or Galaxy S10+ will receive a free pair of Galaxy Buds. And the Galaxy Buds are available in black or white.
