While the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is considered the Korean electronics giant’s best smartphone so far (see the Galaxy Note 9 pros and cons), rumors about the Galaxy S10 are starting to trickle out and it sounds like it could be a game changer.

This is especially important because the Galaxy S9 and S9+ devices are not selling as well as Samsung expectedWhile the Galaxy S9 packs some serious internal hardware, it did not have that have any notable changes when compared to its predecessor.

The Galaxy S10 is expected to be announced in either January or February 2019. And there is a pretty good chance that Samsung could reveal the Galaxy S10 at the Consumer Electronics Show in the second week of January.

Some of the new features that are expected to be included in the Galaxy S10 is an edge-to-edge Infinity Display and a fingerprint sensor embedded within the screen itself. But most notably, the Galaxy S10 is expected to have a triple-lens camera on the back. This means it could look similar to the HUAWEI P20 Pro.

ETNews said that the triple-lens camera will be a major focus for Samsung in 2019 as a whole. It is believed that two out of three Galaxy S10 models will have a triple-lens camera along with the 2019 Galaxy A device Samsung introduces.

And ETNews said that the triple-lens camera will include a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 13-megapixel telephoto camera (up to 3x optical zoom) and a 16-megapixel super wide-angle camera.
