Maravai LifeSciences Holdings has announced that certain of its subsidiaries have entered into a new credit agreement providing a $150 million term loan facility and a $30 million revolving credit facility. Borrowings under the new term loan, combined with approximately $98.5 million of cash on hand, were used to prepay all outstanding borrowings under the company's prior credit agreement, which had been due in October 2027.

The Eastern Company has announced the acquisition of Sungear, LLC and Crown Precision, two California-based precision manufacturers of high-tolerance components serving aerospace, defense, and adjacent end markets, for $7.85 million in aggregate consideration on a cash-free, debt-free basis. The transaction establishes a fourth operating platform for Eastern, complementing its existing portfolio of Eberhard Manufacturing, Velvac, and Big 3 Precision. The deal was funded through borrowings under Eastern's existing revolving credit facility with Citizens Bank, and on a combined basis the two companies generated approximately $22.8 million in revenue for the trailing twelve months ended April 1, 2026.

Aligned Fitness Holdings, one of the nation's leading operators within the Club Pilates system, has announced the acquisition of six high-performing Club Pilates studios in central New Jersey, marking the company's entry into that market and expanding its portfolio to 61 studios across multiple states. The acquisitions include two studios from entrepreneur Gary Laden and four studios from fitness operators Karen and Todd Spidare. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Ensign Group has announced the acquisition of the real estate and operations of Woodland Health and Rehabilitation, a 62-bed skilled nursing facility located in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, effective June 1, 2026. In a separate transaction on the same day, Ensign also acquired the real estate of Memory Care of Contra Costa, a 46-unit memory care facility in Pleasant Hill, California. The acquisitions bring Ensign's growing portfolio to 396 healthcare operations across 17 states.

Liberty Waste Solutions has announced the acquisition of M&M Garbage Disposal, a subscription-based residential waste collector headquartered in Asheboro, North Carolina, serving the greater Greensboro and Triad market. The deal is Liberty's third acquisition in the region, following the earlier acquisitions of AJ Disposal and Randolph County Garbage Services, further increasing residential route density and deepening the company's presence across the Asheboro and Greensboro areas. BKM Capital Partners and Kayne Anderson Real Estate have announced the acquisition of an 8.5-million-square-foot portfolio from Link Logistics for $1.81 billion, marking the largest light industrial transaction since 2022. The deal significantly expands the joint venture's footprint across key U.S. markets, solidifying the partnership as one of the largest owner-operators of multi-tenant light industrial assets in the country with approximately 15 million square feet under management. Databricks has announced the public preview launch of Query Tags, a new capability for Databricks SQL that allows organizations to attach custom business context as key-value pairs to every SQL execution across shared warehouses. The feature addresses a persistent gap in warehouse observability: while Databricks SQL already logs who ran a query and from which tool, it has not previously captured custom metadata such as which team, project, cost center, or application generated a given query. Query Tags fills that gap and stores the metadata directly in the Query History System Table, where it can be analyzed with standard SQL or queried in natural language through Databricks' Genie interface.

Factorial, Europe's leading AI Workforce Operations Platform, has announced the closing of a $150 million Series D funding round at a valuation of $2.5 billion, making it one of the most valuable Spanish and European scale-ups. The round is led by General Catalyst, marking its first direct equity investment in Factorial, joined by Atomico and Four Rivers. Alongside the equity round, General Catalyst is committing up to an additional $540 million through its Customer Value Fund, bringing total capital committed to more than $700 million. Under the Customer Value Fund structure, General Catalyst's returns are tied exclusively to the customer value created by that spend and capped at a fixed amount, giving Factorial the financial firepower to expand aggressively while preserving its equity.

OQC has closed an oversubscribed £260 million ($350 million) Series C funding round, the largest ever private funding round for a quantum computing company in Europe. Bullhound Capital led the round, which included investment from the British Business Bank, Fynveur, COFIDES, RCM Private Markets Fund managed by Rokos Capital Management, Alpha Edison, Fulcrum Asset Management, Pentland Ventures, Magdalen College Oxford, and others. Existing investors, including Oxford Science Enterprises, SBI, Chevron Technology Ventures, the University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners, and OTIF Ventures, also participated. J.P. Morgan acted as the exclusive placement agent. The round establishes OQC as one of the world's best-capitalized private quantum computing companies.

Wordsmith has announced a $70 million Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to $100 million. The London and U.S.-based legal operations platform said revenue has grown more than 14 times over the past 12 months, with more than 500 companies now running on its platform. The company is building what it describes as the system in-house legal teams have never had — a centralized inbox where requests come in from across the business, get handled by AI workers, and land with the legal team ready to review.
