The transaction is pending AES shareholder approval. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Exaforce has announced a $125 million Series B financing round, one of the largest ever in the emerging AI security operations center space, bringing the San Francisco-based company's total funding to $200 million. The round includes participation from HarbourVest, Peak XV, Mayfield, Khosla Ventures, Seligman Ventures, and AICONIC. The capital will be used to scale the company's AI-native security operations platform, deepen its real-time reasoning capabilities, and expand globally, including into Japan and Europe. The raise comes just one year after Exaforce's $75 million Series A.

Photonic has announced the final close of more than $200 million in investment at a $2 billion post-money valuation, bringing the Vancouver-based quantum computing company's total capital raised to more than $350 million. The round was led by Planet First Partners, a UK-based sustainable technology growth equity firm, and adds new investors Business Development Bank of Canada, Export Development Canada, Bell Ventures, Firgun Ventures, and InBC Investment Corp., alongside existing investor Mubadala Capital. The round's first close, announced in January 2026, attracted strategic investors Royal Bank of Canada and TELUS alongside returning investors British Columbia Investment Management Corporation and Microsoft.

Forus, formerly known as Tandem, has announced it has raised more than $160 million to accelerate its mission of connecting the fragmented systems that stand between medical breakthroughs and the patients who need them. The New York-based company is backed by Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Redpoint, BoxGroup, and Pear VC. The raise comes as provider adoption of the platform has grown 10 times year-over-year for the past two years, driven entirely by word of mouth.

Ditto, the Rotterdam-based patient-facing healthcare AI app, has raised €7.6 million to fund its European rollout. The round is led by Heal Capital, with participation from Optiverder and Rubio Impact Ventures. The company won the 2026 Dutch National Healthcare Innovation Award and has been recommended to all policyholders by health insurer Menzis.

Tsunami Express Car Wash has announced the completion of a full rebrand and operational overhaul of its acquired Take 5 Car Wash locations, marking one of the most extensive single-portfolio integrations in the express car wash industry to date. Customers have run more than 10 million workflows on gaiia to date, with workflow execution growing 10 times in the past year alone.

Argano has announced the acquisition of Ascend, a leading provider of implementation, optimization, and managed services for UKG's AI-led Workforce Operating Platform. The deal marks Argano's twelfth transaction since launching its strategic growth program in April 2025 and its twenty-eighth since the company's founding in 2020. The Plano, Texas-based consultancy said the acquisition advances its goal of building the largest UKG practice globally and the most comprehensive portfolio of services focused on operational transformation.

Tolemy Bio, the London-based biology software startup, has raised €1.4 million in pre-seed funding to develop Orbit, an AI-native software platform designed to help scientists understand, predict, and direct cellular behavior. The round was led by Norrsken Evolve and Big Sur Ventures, with participation from JME Ventures, Masia, Redbus Ventures, and a group of angel investors including David Ola, Marcel Hedman, Simon Franks, and Amar Shah.

Corebridge Financial and Equitable Holdings have announced the leadership team that will guide their combined company upon completion of their previously announced all-stock merger. Marc Costantini, currently President and CEO of Corebridge, will serve as CEO of the combined company, while Mark Pearson, currently President and CEO of Equitable Holdings, will serve as Executive Chair. White Circle, the Paris-based AI control platform, has raised $11 million in seed funding from a group of prominent investors drawn from the highest levels of the AI industry. Ciridae, the San Francisco-based AI transformation firm building operating systems for real economy businesses, has raised $20 million in seed funding led by Accel, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst, Sunflower Capital, and Backcountry Ventures. The company was founded by CEO Jack Soslow, a former partner at Andreessen Horowitz and data scientist at Meta, and CTO Jack Weissenberger, a former engineering team leader at Salesforce and Head of ML at Teneyx.

Star Catcher Industries, the company building what it describes as the first power grid in space, has raised $65 million in an oversubscribed Series A round, bringing its total capital raised to $88 million. The round was led by B Capital and co-led by Shield Capital and Cerberus Ventures, the venture arm of Cerberus Capital Management, with additional participation from GreatPoint Ventures, Helena, Oceans Ventures, and MVP Ventures.

Iberdrola has reached an agreement to acquire a 40 MW wind power plant located in Basilicata, Italy, from Belenergia, an Italian-based renewable energy group, and RGREEN INVEST, a French investment firm focused on green infrastructure investments in the energy transition sector. Amazon has launched Amazon Now, a new ultra-fast delivery service that brings thousands of fresh groceries, household essentials, and locally relevant items to customers' doors in 30 minutes or less. The service is currently widely available in Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, Philadelphia, and Seattle, with rapid expansion underway in dozens more U.S. cities, including Austin, Houston, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix, Denver, and Oklahoma City. Amazon said it plans to expand Amazon Now to tens of millions of customers by the end of the year.
